Roots & Revival Bakery is a home-based bakery run by a my passionate 12-year-old son, Jake, who believes great food starts from scratch. Every item is handmade using organic ingredients and simple, wholesome recipes that bring baking back to its roots. From carefully mixed doughs to fresh-from-the-oven treats, Roots & Revival is all about reviving traditional baking with heart, care, and a whole lot of love!
Meet Chef, Jake!
Hi! I’m Jake. I’ve always loved cooking for my family. It started when I was about 7 years old, waking up in the morning and cooking myself an egg from our chickens. From there, I just kept cooking more and more. It’s always came naturally to me, and I genuinely love feeding the people I care about
I'm excited to share that my mom and I will be traveling to South Africa in just a couple of weeks for a mission trip. We’ll be visiting my best friend and his family, who are serving as missionaries in Cape Town. While we’re there, we’ll have the opportunity to serve alongside them—supporting children and families in a local community facing significant challenges related to poverty and injustice. We’re truly grateful for the chance to come alongside this community and our friends in this work.
To help fund the trip, we’re hosting a small fundraiser through Roots & Revival Bakery. For the next two weeks, all proceeds from my bakery sales will go directly toward supporting this mission. I'll be baking my delicious, organic homemade French bread loaves, paired with honey whipped butter made from our own beehive!
