Roots & Revival Bakery is a home-based bakery run by a my passionate 12-year-old son, Jake, who believes great food starts from scratch. Every item is handmade using organic ingredients and simple, wholesome recipes that bring baking back to its roots. From carefully mixed doughs to fresh-from-the-oven treats, Roots & Revival is all about reviving traditional baking with heart, care, and a whole lot of love!
Meet Chef, Jake!
Hi! I’m Jake. I’ve always loved cooking for my family. It started when I was about 7 years old, waking up in the morning and cooking myself an egg from our chickens. From there, I just kept cooking more and more. It’s always came naturally to me, and I genuinely love feeding the people I care about.
Over the next few months, every Roots & Revival Bakery item I sell will go toward my missions trip to South Africa. I’ll be visiting my best friend and his family, who serve with the International Church in Cape Town near the informal settlement of Egoli. This community faces a lot of challenges tied to poverty and injustice, and I’m excited for the chance to serve both the kids and adults there alongside my best friend.
