Rooted in Rhythm
The Vision for Roots & Revival Dance
At Roots & Revival, I seek to create a nurturing and enriching dance environment that supports the growth and development of young dancers. My goal is to foster a space where girls feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress, boosting their value along the way.
I aim to cultivate an understanding of rhythm, timing, and musicality by exposing students to a diverse range of music and encouraging them to move to the beat. Through group dances and collaborative activities, I want to help girls learn the importance of teamwork, support one another, and build lasting friendships.
I envision my students blossoming with creativity and leaving my classes with a deeper rooted love for dance!

My Dance Story
Dance has been my lifelong passion, sparked by the infectious rhythms I fell in love with as a child. From the very first beat, I found myself compelled to move!
My dance journey truly took off in high school, where I proudly joined the Magruder Pompon Dance Team and trained at Barbie's Dance Studio. During this time, I not only honed my skills but also had the incredible opportunity to serve as a choreographer for the studio, allowing me to blend my love for dance with creativity.
To further enrich my understanding and appreciation of dance, I minored in the subject at Montgomery College while coaching the high school pompon team. Over the past 15 years, I have been fortunate to share my passion by teaching dance for various drama productions, churches, schools, and community events.
